The Residence Hall Rules pertain to all students living in any of the on campus resident halls, suites, or apartments. This includes South Campus Commons.

Section A of the Residence Hall Rules list a serious of provisions the violation of which may result in sanctions as serious as Administrative Housing Termination or a denial of recontracting of your housing agreement for the upcoming year. Students charged with an A level violation are usually referred to the Office of Rights and Responsibilities. Sanctions are decided by the student's Community Director with a recommendation by our office. To view the Rules listed in Section A, please click here.

Section B list rules that, if violated, may result in sanctions like housing probation or community service. Students in violation of these rules will usually be referred to their resident director who will then meet with the student and discuss the incident. Please be mindful that students placed on probation by their Resident Director or Community Director are given two additional housing priority points, thereby giving them a lower status when it comes to room selection. To view the Rules listed in Section B, please click here.
