QUEEN ANNE'S HALL

Queen Anne’s Hall is a four-story, coed, traditional style residence hall that houses approximately 119 residents. All living quarters are comprised of singles, doubles, and triples. Conveniently located just next door is McKeldin library, while most academic buildings are less than a 5-minute walk away. The areas main dining hall is also located in the immediate community.

Amenities

Residents living in Queen Anne’s Hall have access to study lounges, and a laundry facility conveniently located in the basement of the building. Each room is complete with data jacks for telephone and computer use, and cable connections for each student. Some rooms are also equipped and accessible for persons with disabilities.

Resident Life Staff

Resident Life Staff are available to assist residents with a variety of needs. Community Assistants serve as a resource for the residents; they operate the community’s 24-hour service desk. The desk (located in Queens Anne’s Hall) is the central location where students pick up mail, obtain spare keys, and make other customer service related requests. The service desk is also the location where students can make contact with Resident Life staff 24 hours a day. Three Resident Assistants live in Queen Anne's Hall, along with one full time Resident Director who has an office in the building and oversees the entire staff. The Resident Life Staff is responsible for managing the residence halls, as well as creating a social, cultural, and academic environment through various programs.
