Oakland Hall Construction
Construction is about to begin on Oakland Hall beginning this summer 2009 in close proximity to Easton, Denton, Elkton and Hagerstown halls. We know that we can realistically expect periodic disruptions and inconveniences such as temporary road closures, loss of parking spaces, large deliveries of steel and other building materials, and construction noise and dust over the next two years. Please take this into consideration as you make your housing arrangements for next year.

The Denton community is comprised of Denton Hall, Easton Hall, and Elkton Hall. The Deton Community office is located at 0137 Easton Hall and is open Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30pm.

The Denton Community includes:

• coeducational Denton, Easton and Elkton Halls;
• the Community office located in Easton Hall;
• a 24-hour service desk in every hall;
• located across from the Clarice Smith Center for Performing Arts;
• wireless connections in first floor study lounges in Denton, Easton, and Elkton Halls
• Math Success Program in Easton Hall basement;
• housing for Honors students in Denton Hall;
• an Honors satellite office in the Denton Hall Lobby;
• quiet study locations in each hall
