Who can participate in the Syn*Quest Collaborative?
The Syn*Quest Collaborative is open to all students who live in the Denton Community (Denton Hall, Easton Hall, Elkton Hall and Oakland Hall).
How do I become part of the Syn*Quest Collaborative?
Students interested in participating in Syn*Quest should e-mail reslife@umd.edu and request to live in the Denton Community (Easton, Elkton, Denton, Oakland Halls). Students should make requests as soon as possible, and before assignments are sent to students in mid-August. If you are assigned to live in the Denton Community, you can simply come to any Syn*Quest events to show interest.
What are the application and completion requirements?
There are no application or completion requirements to participate in Syn*Quest programs. The Syn*Quest Collaborative is entirely optional, which allows students to choose which programs best suit their needs and interests
Why should I be involved with this program?
The Syn*Quest Collaborative offers multiple benefits to students to connect with their peers and the University, engage in positive learning environments, explore majors and careers, reflect on their college experiences, and gain skills that prepare them for working in a collaborative, diverse work environment in the future. Students who take advantage of all the components of the Syn*Quest Collaborative will get the most benefit from the program.
Where can I get more information?
