Residents are responsible for reviewing the condition of their room / bedroom / suite / apartment upon move in and completing a room inspection form noting any existing damage or other condition found for their specific unit. Residents should carefully examine the walls, floors, windows, furniture, etc in their room, bathroom and any common areas in a suite or apartment.
This form will be kept on file at the service desk and a "closing inspection" will be completed once the resident moves out. Residents will be financially responsible for any damage noted on the closing inspection that was not noted as previous damage on the opening inspection.
Residents are encouraged to complete their room inspection immediately upon move in and prior to unpacking any items. Please return the form to your service desk as soon as possible and by no later than the first day of classes.
Note: It is important to note prices listed on both forms (RCR and Itemized Billing Form) are from the previous year and subject to change based on repair / replacement cost calculations from Residential Facilities.
