To put yourself on both waitlists, login to the waitlist form and then select "both" as your request. This will allow both leasing offices to contact you if any apartments open up in either apartment community.

If you need to update or change your preferences, including putting yourself on another waitlist, removing yourself from a waitlist, etc, you can do this by login to the waitlist form, updating your preferences and clicking confirm.

Login to the waitlist form to update your waitlist preference to "not on either waitlists". Doing so will remove you from the waitlists immediately. If you decide you would like to return to the waitlists later, you may lose your current position, as you will be placed lower on the waiting lists based on the date you reapply.

Yes. If you have completed a Commons/Courtyards application and are on the waitlist, your friend can list you as a re-lessor on their Re-Leasing form.

At this time, s/he will set up a lease transfer appointment for you to attend with him/her. At this appointment, you will need to hand in your two checks (one is a $25 lease application fee and the other is a $300 lease reservation fee). If you are not prepared for your meeting, you will not be provided a chance to lease.

Yes, you can find people who are interested in giving up their leases by going to our online message boards. These message boards are used by SCC/CTY residents to advertise their spaces and find re-lessors to take over their leases. If you are interested in these websites, go to:

Yes. You can live in Commons or Courtyards if you are designated, by a current resident, as a re-lessor. If you are not designated as a re-lessor and do not currently live in a campus residence hall you can only be considered for a space in Commons or Courtyards if we are able to offer leases to all students in groups A-D on the waitlist.

If you are interested in living in the campus residence halls, you can place yourself on the On Campus Housing Waitlist by going and completing a Housing Agreement by selecting "Apply for Residence Hall Housing". Placing yourself on the On Campus Housing Waitlist does NOT guarantee housing in the residence halls or the South Campus Commons/Courtyards.
