Campus Resources For Students In Distress
A student’s death brings shock, sadness and grieving to our campus community. This week brought news of the deaths of two University of Maryland students. Loved ones, friends, classmates, and faculty and staff members who knew these students are mourning their sudden and tragic losses. We extend our condolences to these students’ family members, friends and other loved ones.
News reports have said the deaths are being investigated by the medical examiner and that no foul play is believed to be involved.
The University’s Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Linda Clement, wrote to Maryland students in a letter published in The Diamondback newspaper. Please click here to read the full text of Dr. Clement’s message.
