Temporary Inconvenience, Permanent Improvement
Completion of this exiting project is expected by late October. As has been the case with the previous phases of the community renovations, there will be some inconveniences for students associated with the work being done.
- You can expect to see work occurring in the quad between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- The work will include finishing the sidewalks and other paved/hardscape areas, final touches on the pergola, installation of the site furniture, and the addition of all landscaping elements including sod, trees, and plant materials throughout the community.
- One set of doors on the street sides of both Denton and Elkton Halls will be closed during the first few weeks of classes to install new accessible ramps and railings from the patios into the main lobby areas.
- There will be deliveries to the site and that at times there will be some noise and dust emanating from the site as well as temporary closings of sections of walkways.
We urge you to always use caution when moving about the quad during the first part of the fall semester. Please never enter a fenced area and always obey all directional signs.
