What to Bring to Campus

Things to Know

Please "pack light" for your first trip to your room, and leave your largest and least essential items at home—at least until you and your roommate(s) have talked. Storage will be your closet space and under your bed. Each student will have:

Standard Double Typical Room Setup
  • regular twin bed and mattress (36"×75")
  • four-drawer dresser
  • personal data line
  • desk with drawer and shelf, desk chair
  • personal cable jack
Property Insurance

The University will not be able to reimburse you for any theft or loss or damages to your belongings because of fire, flood, water leak, etc. Please check your family’s homeowner’s or apartment dweller’s policy; it will probably cover your belongings while they are on campus.
